At the Women in Business Exhibition in Birmingham last week, I shared this ‘two-breath centring technique’ for dealing with any difficult situation. On the inhale, allow your neck to lengthen. As you exhale, soften your jaw, shoulders and chest. Do the same thing on the next inhale and exhale. Now, think of someone or something that makes your heart smile. Imagine that feeling spreading throughout your whole body and then going out beyond your body to fill the whole room. In this state, you’re ready for anything, with all your resources available. Practice this technique several times a day and it will become easy and natural.
