Every conversation at work can be important. Our training programmes and coaching focus on productive conversations, especially for resolving workplace conflict or raising difficult issues. This experiential programme is for leaders who know that they need to develop a different and better approach in their work conversations. We begin with an analysis of a real problem conversation you have had with a direct report, colleague, stakeholder or client.
You will explore the mindset, values, beliefs and behaviour patterns that contributed. You will then learn a variety of methods to cultivate a new mindset that supports you in finding positive alternative strategies to deal with this and other challenging conversations and relationships. This often involves a shift from judgment, blame, anxiety and control to curiosity, acknowledgement of own contribution, experimentation and learning.
In small, facilitated peer groups, you practise alternative behaviours to achieve a better outcome and receive support and challenge from your peers and the programme facilitator. This experiential learning environment enables you to see for yourself what works best for you. You get instant, honest feedback so that you can continue to adjust and refine your skills.
This programme can be delivered virtually or face-to-face.
